This very distinctive handmade ballpoint pen is made from Curly Maple, native to the USA.  It uses a ballpoint Parker refill, which is easily replaced when needed, and easily obtained locally or online.  It's hand turned on a lathe, sanded, and give a protective varnish. A very distinctive pen for someone who likes lighter wood.
